Dank meines Arbeitgebers habe ich inzwischen ja schon einige Male San Francisco bzw. Silicon Valley besuchen dürfen. Und da hat sich die eine oder andere Tradition natürlich eingeschlichen: Übernachten im quirky Triton Hotel (am Eingang zu China Town, wenige Blocks von Union Square und Shopping), das Begrüßungssteak im Daily Grill und Frühstückspancakes in Cafe de la Presse sowie Lunch in La Boulange. Ist dieses Wochenende überstanden und alle Musts sind abgehakt, kann es getrost nach Mountain View gehen.
Thanks to my employer I get to visit San Francisco and Silicon Valley quite frequently and, hence, some traditions sneaked in: staying in quirky Triton (at the entrance to China Town, a few blocks from Union Square and Shopping), the welcome steak in Daly Grill and breakfast pancakes in Cafe de la Presse as well as a lunch break in La Boulange. Ticking off those must do's it's okay to leave for Mountain View.
